Job summary

CRB is seeking an Electrical Engineer IV to lead electrical design for large, complex projects and to manage budgets and client interfaces. This role emphasizes expertise in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and coordination across teams.

Candidates should hold an ABET-accredited degree, PE registration, and 10+ years in a design environment. The position requires collaboration with PMs, vendors, and engineers to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• PE registration.
• 10+ years of experience in a design firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary electrical discipline lead for large, complex projects.
• Manage project budgets and schedules from an electrical design perspective.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead electrical system design programming and master planning.
• Design and engineer electrical systems for new builds (power distribution, lighting, grounding/bonding).
• Oversee QA for electrical design documents and calculations.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support construction activities and responses to RFIs/submittals.
