Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Power & Energy ACS team in Seattle, WA or New York, NY. You will guide multi-site electrical design for electrification projects, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with utilities and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate brings 10–12 years of experience in power systems, expertise with ETAP/SKM, AutoCAD Electrical, and Revit, and a strong track record in project delivery and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10–12 years of progressive experience in behind-the-meter electrical power system design and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead IFC electrical design docs for behind-the-meter systems from 35 kV through MV/LV distribution.
• Perform site visits and assess existing electrical infrastructure and code compliance.
• Coordinate utility interconnections and protection/metering teams.
