Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) to join our Power & Energy team in a nationwide search with preferred offices in Boise, Seattle, Houston, Mount Laurel, Oradell, and Atlanta. This role will lead electrical design for complex power plant projects, spanning from preliminary design to construction and commissioning support.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience as a power engineer delivering design deliverables for capital projects in power generation.
- Professional Engineer license required (multiple states preferred).
- Strong knowledge of power engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes.
Responsibilities
- Produce, coordinate, review and/or approve electrical design plans for complex power plant projects.
- Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques across all project phases from preliminary design to commissioning support.
- Oversee development of electrical drawings and equipment specifications.
- Lead larger-scale electrical engineering projects and manage budgets, hours, and expenses.
- Mentor staff to support their growth and development.
