Job summary

LaBella Associates in Rochester, NY is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on Building Projects. You will lead electrical design efforts, develop concepts, strategies, drawings and specifications, and collaborate with mechanical, civil and architectural teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in an A/E setting, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; NYPE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience at an A/E consulting firm.
• New York State Professional Engineer's license is preferred.
• Experience in electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, and communications/security/fire alarm is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering for multi-discipline projects through all phases (proposal, design, bidding, construction).
• Interact with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects.
• Perform code reviews.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
• Meetings with external and internal clients.
• Perform building condition assessment reports.
