Job summary

LaBella Associates seeks an Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on building projects to join our Rochester, NY office. You will work with engineering staff to develop concepts, designs, drawings, specifications and reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects from proposal through construction.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of professional experience (three in an A/E consulting firm).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with 3+ years in an A/E consulting firm.
• Autodesk Revit proficiency required.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Experience in electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, and utilities, as well as communications, security, and fire alarm systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects.
• Serve as project electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases (proposal, design, bidding and construction).
• Perform code reviews.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
• Meet with external and internal clients.
• Perform building condition assessment reports.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineerwith a strong focus and background in Building Projects to work in our Rochester, NY Office. This position will work closely with engineering staff to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams producing electrical engineering documents.

Duties

• Perform code reviews.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members.
• Meeting with external and internal clients.

Salary range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.

• A bachelor’s degree inengineering is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with 3+ years working at an A/E consulting firm is required.
