Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to support EPC power generation projects. You will manage a design team, develop electrical raceway systems, and collaborate with disciplines and construction through project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include 3D modeling, cable tray design, and NEC-based sizing, with focus on safe, cost-effective, innovative designs aligned with client expectations. Base compensation is competitive with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Proficient with 3D design tools and 3D conceptualization.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion.
• Perform NEC-based conduit and cable tray sizing calculations.
• Route electrical cables in 3D to generate a cable schedule.
• Develop 3D models using drawings and sketches.
• Check 3D models for interference and constructability.
• Support project meetings and deliverables.
