Applied Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (Remote) to lead electrical design and validation across major subsystems. You will own schematics, BOMs, and performance verification while working with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers and supporting project planning as you contribute to projects across North America. The ideal candidate has a BS in EE with 5+ years in industrial electrical design, strong knowledge of power

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical design or electromechanical experience.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, conversion, monitoring, and controls.
• Experience with switchgear, switchboards, transfer switches, loadbanks, and generators.
• Experience with NEC, UL, and derating criteria for components.
• Experience with design documentation, reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with design standards, manufacturability, safety, and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical design and validation for major subsystems and product areas.
• Translate system requirements into robust electrical designs.
• Own schematics, drawings, calculations, specs, and BOM.
• Drive design reviews, trade studies, prototypes, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and project teams.
• Mentor early-career engineers and reinforce standards.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, and execution.
• Contribute to projects across North America.
