Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the design of low- and medium-voltage switchgear and critical power systems.

You will own designs from concept through manufacturing, work directly with customers, and guide multi-project efforts. The role requires hands-on experience with LV and MV distribution, protection concepts, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on LV/MV switchgear design experience.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and switchgear systems.
• Experience with single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts.
• Experience with protection and coordination concepts.
• Ability to lead technical activities across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of LV/MV switchgear and related power systems.
• Develop diagrams, schematics, switchgear layouts, and wiring docs.
• Provide technical leadership across concurrent projects.
• Translate customer requirements into practical switchgear designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure design manufacturability.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering processes.
