Job summary

Rosendin Electric in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to provide technical engineering oversight and design management for major projects. You will mentor staff and lead cross-functional teams on scope, schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, a Bachelor's in engineering, 8+ years of experience, and strong leadership, communication and knowledge of electrical codes. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of Engineering Experience
• Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required for this position.
• Field experience is strongly recommended.
• Education and experience can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and develop a design fee for the work requested.
• Prepare and oversee work plans for engineering and production resources.
• Oversee Engineers, Designers and Modeling staff assigned to team or project work.
• Communicate with Project Manager (PM) or Executive regarding effort required to accomplish expected deliverables.
• Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM.
• Resolve a variety of complex problems in design and coordination.
• Supervise coordination with city, state, and county officials and other regulatory agencies.
• Attend project design meetings with the overall Design Build Team.
• Perform Job Site Visits to review installation or assess current conditions.
• Conduct Value Engineering studies.
• Act as Engineer of Record for projects within responsibility.
