Job summary

Rosendin Electric is hiring a senior Engineer III in Phoenix to provide technical engineering information and ensure compliance with project requirements and codes. This is a senior role with mentoring responsibilities and broad project scope.

You will oversee a team of engineers, coordinate with architects and trades, develop power systems, and perform analyses and studies to support budget and deliverables. Valid PE license and on-site experience are required, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.
• On-site field experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise submittals and design coordination between trades.
• Prepare designs including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Develop single-line diagrams and protective device coordination.
• Visit job sites to survey electrical conditions.
• Coordinate with client, architect, and mechanical contractor.
• Provide engineering analysis and value engineering.
