Insync Staffing Inc. seeks a Lead EHS Specialist in Lafayette, IN to oversee environmental, health, and safety initiatives across manufacturing and laboratory operations.

Reporting to the EVP of Global Manufacturing, this role will drive OSHA compliance, conduct safety inspections, lead incident investigations, manage chemical safety programs, complete Job Safety Analyses, and deliver employee safety training.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing/plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS requirements.
• Experience with flammable chemicals and hydrogen safety.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and JSAs.
• Proficient with Excel for data collection and reporting.
• Ability to travel about 10–15%.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and enforce EHS programs and regulatory compliance across manufacturing, metal fabrication, and labs.
• Conduct routine safety inspections (cranes, forklifts, extinguishers, eyewash, showers).
• Maintain safety audit checklists and track corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and manage incident reporting system.
• Analyze safety trends and perform root-cause analyses.
