Job summary

SSW Advanced Technologies, LLC is hiring an EHS Specialist in Vincennes, IN to develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and excellent training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and other applicable federal and state EHS laws.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively train employees and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting to prevent recurrence and improve safety protocols.
• Provide training and education to employees on EHS best practices, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with management and operational teams to integrate EHS considerations into daily manufacturing processes and continuous improvement projects.
