Akin is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our Early Learning team in Seattle. You will lead a classroom, design engaging activities, and partner with families to support children’s growth across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Background checks and health/safety trainings required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities and develop engaging lesson plans.
• Support professional growth of the teaching team and collaborate with families.
• Build partnerships with families and coordinate four annual parent conferences.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and maintain records.
