Akin seeks a dedicated childcare team member to assist in delivering comprehensive child development services in our Seattle center. You will support the Lead and Assistant teachers, help prepare the learning environment, and participate in family events while following Head Start and licensing standards.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, communicative with families, and comfortable handling confidential information.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TB test within past 12 months; negative chest x-ray if applicable.
• Proof of MMR vaccine or positive titer.
• Criminal history background check including fingerprinting.

Aufgaben

• Interact positively with children to support development.
• Communicate with families and involve parents in education.
• Assist lead and assistant teacher in activities.
• Prepare learning environment; clean and disinfect toys.
• Assist with meals and family-style dining with children.
• Maintain documentation and record keeping.
• Participate in required trainings and professional development.
