Mechanical Systems Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Deputy Ductwork Riding Foreman to provide hands-on field leadership for commercial and industrial HVAC sheet metal projects around Memphis. You will oversee installation crews, coordinate manpower, and ensure safety and quality from planning to completion.

The role requires strong installation experience, ability to read drawings, supervise crews, and coordinate across active sites.

Qualifications

• Ten years of ductwork or commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
• Experience leading or supervising sheet metal crews in the field.
• Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of installation practices and codes.
• Experience planning crew assignments and coordinating manpower.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Procore or similar CM software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead sheet metal mechanics and apprentices on commercial and industrial projects.
• Travel between jobsites to oversee field activities and crew performance.
• Set priorities and organize manpower based on schedules.
• Review drawings and blueprints before and during installation.
• Ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain safe working environment and address site safety concerns.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and tool needs to minimize delays.
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve installation and scheduling issues.
• Track progress and communicate field conditions and needs.
• Coach crews and evaluate performance; improve productivity safely.
