Job summary

McKenney’s is seeking an experienced sheet metal foreman to oversee fabrication, installation, and testing of ductwork systems for ongoing projects. You will plan manpower, material deliveries, and equipment, while coordinating with trades and ensuring schedule adherence and safety standards.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, proficiency with blueprints and SMACNA standards, and strong communication to drive quality and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience in sheet metal/ductwork OR completion of JATC apprenticeship with 2+ years in leadership/foreman role.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily goals and ductwork tasks to crew members.
• Review drawings, specifications, and duct designs for daily work.
• Inspect materials for quality and specifications.
• Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural trades.
• Review duct installation progress and update as-built drawings.
• Identify and address safety issues in work areas.
