Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking a Foreman to plan, lay out, participate in, and supervise ductwork/equipment installation on job sites. Must be able to measure ductwork and produce shop tickets.

Duties include coordinating tasks, forecasting labor, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years as a journeyman in commercial sheet metal ductwork installation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years journeyman in commercial sheet metal ductwork installation.
• Ability to measure ductwork and produce shop tickets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, participate in, and supervise ductwork/equipment installation.
• Forecast labor 2 weeks ahead and coordinate manpower.
• Coordinate work: schedule, order materials, manage tools and subs, and direct subs.
• Ensure quality control and safety on site.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, JSAs, time sheets, RFIs, tool returns, safety, accidents and dray tickets.
• Conduct material take-offs and track equipment ship dates.
• Process change orders and attend job meetings.
• Control job costs (materials, rental equipment, labor hours).
• Handle payroll and employee termination.
• Mentor future field leaders and manage crew productivity.
• Meet deadlines set by Operations Manager.
• Layout work in front of crew members.
