Job summary

Access Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with developmental disabilities across Fort Washington, Bethlehem, or Orwigsburg offices. Travel is required as services occur in homes and community settings, with on-site responsibilities in a full-time role.

You will implement Plans of Care, support DSPs through onboarding and coaching, and collaborate with families, funding sources, and community partners to ensure safe, person-centered services day by day.

Qualifications

• Background checks, physical examination, and clearances required.
• Two years of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, training, and client coverage needs.
• Promote current best practices and maintain required trainings.
• Utilize Evolv and other systems per policy.
• Ensure compliance with local, county, and state regulations.
• Coach DSPs and support teamwork toward agency goals.
• Present a professional image to families, funding sources, and partners.
• Provide direct support and implement Plan of Care and Person-Centered Plans.
• Assist with supervision of staff and development.
• Maintain effective relationships with community agencies.
