Job summary

Access Services is seeking a DSP to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home, community, and program settings. The role involves implementing care plans, supervising and coaching DSPs, and ensuring safe, person-centered service delivery.

Travel is required, with work based in Fort Washington, Bethlehem, or Orwigsburg offices. The candidate will work closely with the Supervisor, participate in ongoing training, and maintain professional relationships with families, funding

Qualifications

• Two years of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities required.
• Ability to travel and drive a personal or agency vehicle as needed.
• Background checks, physical exam results, and clearances required.
• High school graduate or GED required; bachelor’s in related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Evolv and standard workplace software.
• Experience with planning and executing Plan of Care and Person-Centered Support Plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with onboarding, training, and client coverage.
• Maintain required professional development and trainings.
• Promote and implement current IDD/HH philosophies.
• Utilize Evolv software per program requirements and policy.
• Ensure compliance with local, county, and state agencies.
• Coach DSPs and support team development with Supervisor.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication among staff and families.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks and communicate concerns.
