Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to develop models and algorithms for the TeraWave Custom Silicon. You will work on packet processing, MAC, PHY, and DSP, with hands-on coding in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++. The role emphasizes fixed-point optimization and pre-silicon verification.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in signal processing or modem design and development.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with PHY, DSP, beamforming, RF and/or mixed-signal designs.
• Strong hands-on programming in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ for DSP/communications algorithms.
• Experience with floating-point and fixed-point modeling and bit-accurate implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and algorithms for the TeraWave Custom Silicon, including packet processing, MAC, PHY, and DSP.
• Hands-on development and implementation of DSP/PHY algorithms using MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
• Drive for lowest power consumption and highest performance while targeting FPGA/ASIC.
