Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior developer for the TeraWave Custom Silicon program. You will design DSP/PHY algorithms, develop models, and drive fixed-point optimization for ASIC/FPGA paths.

Collaboration with ASIC, RFIC and software teams is essential to bring pre-silicon validation to life and achieve high-performance, low-power outcomes. The role is onsite in the Bay Area, Austin, or Kent with a temporary remote work exception during site development, supporting a global space communications

Qualifications

• 10+ years of signal processing or modem design and development.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with PHY, DSP, beamforming, RF or mixed-signal designs.
• Strong hands-on programming in MATLAB, Python and C/C++ for DSP/communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and algorithms for TeraWave Custom Silicon (DSP/PHY).
• Implement DSP/PHY algorithms in MATLAB, Python and C/C++.
• Support pre-silicon verification and hardware bring-up activities.
• Collaborate with ASIC, RFIC and SW teams throughout the project.
• Optimize for power, performance and real-time operation.
• Validate cross-model and silicon performance end-to-end.
