Blue Origin LLC seeks a senior signal processing/communications engineer to develop and optimize DSP/PHY algorithms for the TeraWave silicon. You will implement in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++, driving fixed-point optimization and pre-silicon verification.

Join a collaborative team spanning ASIC, RFIC, and software to bring high-performance, low-power radio systems from model to silicon, with onsite and temporary remote work options in CA, TX, or WA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of signal processing or modem design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with PHY, DSP, beamforming, RF, or mixed-signal designs.
• Strong hands-on programming in MATLAB, Python and C/C++ for DSP/communications.
• Experience with floating-point and fixed-point modeling, bit-accurate implementation and optimization.
• Knowledge of DSP and communications systems, filters.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and algorithms for TeraWave Custom Silicon.
• Implement DSP/PHY algorithms using MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
• Optimize for power, performance, and fixed-point implementation.
• Support ASIC/FPGA/RTL verification and pre-silicon bring-up.
• Collaborate with ASIC, RFIC, and SW teams on platform validation.
• Debug and correlate performance across models, RTL/FPGA, and silicon.
