Job summary

PV Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing is seeking a Lead Dispatcher to oversee daily dispatch operations and support the dispatch team. You’ll own the dispatch board, optimize technician schedules, support revenue goals, and ensure technicians and customers have the information they need for a successful service experience.

The ideal candidate is a confident leader who makes quick decisions, proactively solves problems, and maintains accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, scheduling, logistics or customer service; HVAC, plumbing or home services preferred.
• Leadership or team-lead background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching, scheduling and route optimization.
• ServiceTitan experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Dispatch Board and prioritize calls based on urgency, technician availability, customer needs and revenue opportunities.
• Lead and support the dispatch team; ensure procedures are followed.
• Monitor technician locations, schedules and job status; address delays and conflicts.
• Optimize schedules and routes to maximize productivity and revenue.
• Provide accurate job information to technicians and keep customers updated.
• Serve as escalation point for concerns and operational issues.
• Maintain ServiceTitan accuracy for customer and job data.
• Identify callbacks and follow-ups; document and schedule them.
• Communicate across departments to resolve issues quickly.
• Proactively solve problems to keep daily operations efficient.
