The role combines founder-like thinking, principal-engineer execution, and executive-level partnership. You will own delivery at velocity, push for responsible AI practices, and translate business strategy into engineering bets with conviction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations.
• Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and backend scale.
• Proven ownership of production AI systems, from deployment to governance.
• Track record of migrating monoliths to microservices under business pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for a multi-team engineering org (50-150+ engineers).
• Embed AI, ML, and automation into the lifecycle as production capabilities.
• Own delivery velocity and maintain accountability for outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Health care leaders to translate strategy into bets.
• Advocate for sound architecture and timely engineering investments.
