Resources for Human Development (RHD) BLOOM Program seeks a Lead Direct Support Professional to mentor DSPs and provide hands-on care in a residential/day program. You will work with the Site Supervisor to ensure quality services and effective operations, fostering independence and community participation for individuals.

This leadership role emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and trauma-informed care within the BLOOM Program, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs.
• Basic computer and internet skills; ability to use email and timekeeping systems.
• Understanding of trauma, trauma-informed care, and creating trauma-informed environments.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record within last 5 years.
• FBI clearance when applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on direct care to individuals.
• Mentor and role-model for Direct Support Professionals.
• Support daily program operations and ensure quality services.
• Promote independence, dignity, and community participation.
• Follow ISP plans and maintain professional interactions.
