Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) for the BLOOM Program in Allentown, PA. This is a hands-on leadership role providing direct care and mentoring Direct Support Professionals to help individuals gain independence and participate in the community.

You will supervise daily program operations, coordinate with the Site Supervisor, and ensure services align with each person’s support plan while promoting dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience with individuals with IDD and/or mental health needs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record in last 5 years.
• Ability to complete required employment clearances (FBI when applicable).

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on direct care to individuals receiving services.
• Mentor, train, observe, and support Direct Support Professionals.
• Support ISPs and daily program operations per plans.
• Model professional interactions and person-centered support.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
