Resources for Human Development, a nonprofit organization, seeks a Lead Direct Support Professional to support the Site Supervisor and mentor Direct Support Professionals. The role involves direct care, staff support, and program operations while ensuring compliance with regulations.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

• Works with Direct Support Professionals, management, internal departments, and stakeholders to ensure service implementation per Individual Service Plans.
• Mentors, trains, observes, monitors, and provides feedback to Direct Support Professionals regarding ISPs.
• Develops and maintains organizational systems in assigned areas/homes based on support needs, budgets, and Individual Service Plans.
• Provides service to consumers in accordance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Collaborates with management to prepare daily operations of the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Basic computer and internet literacy, including email and time‑recording applications.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues.
• Understanding of trauma‑informed care and creating trauma‑informed environments.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record within the last five years.
• Subject to employment clearances, including FBI clearance when applicable.
