Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional Lead (Lead DSP) to provide direct care, mentorship, and operational oversight in residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Lead DSP will train and supervise Direct Support Professionals while ensuring quality service delivery and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, person-centered supports, and collaboration with Residential Managers to promote independence

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with disabilities or related conditions.
• Supervisory/mentoring experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, meals, housekeeping).
• Support individuals in ISP/BSP goals and daily program operations.
• Provide supervision, mentoring, and on-site training to Direct Support Professionals.
• Document services and progress; complete daily records and reports.
• Coordinate medical appointments, transportation, and access to community resources.
• Maintain safe, clean, and home-like living environments and ensure safety.
