Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience; long-term care preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification and CDM/CFPP credentials.

• Ability to motivate staff and maintain quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary department functions.
• Supervises and evaluates quality of work by department staff.
• Forecasts purchases of supplies and equipment; plans staffing schedules.
• Maintains records (inventory, compliance, finances, personnel).
• Conducts management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Ensures cost-effective programs and survey readiness; regulatory compliance.
