The role ensures quality dining programs, staff supervision, budget management, and compliance with regulations while fostering resident satisfaction and collaboration with other departments.

The director will lead staffing, training, and quality initiatives, maintaining survey readiness and promoting growth opportunities for the team.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe Managers, CDM/CFPP recognized.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary functions.
• Maintains records, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures department operates within federal, state, and local regulations.
