Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Food Services Director in a long-term care setting to lead the dietary department, oversee food service operations, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with residents and other departments to deliver quality dining experiences.

The role requires a degree in food service management or hospitality, Food Service supervisory experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a dietary/long-term care setting preferred.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers recommended.
• CDM/CFPP credentials or equivalent per ANFP guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans and supervises department functions and staffing levels.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintains records: inventory, compliance, income/expense, personnel.
• Coordinates with other departments for dietary activities.
• Monitors budget and cost-control measures.
