Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Lead Digital Project Manager to drive portfolio operations, financial planning, workforce coordination, and business execution for a complex digital engineering organization.

You will work across engineering, product, architecture, simulation, infrastructure, Finance, and portfolio teams to deliver clear leadership insights on financial performance, capacity, and priorities. You will coordinate planning and governance, improve reporting accuracy, and help leaders

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting digital, technology, software, engineering, finance, or business operations programs.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, actual spending analysis, variance analysis, reporting, portfolio operations, or investment planning.
• Knowledge of project and program management practices, including governance, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to organize complex information, identify trends and data gaps, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical recommendations.
• Experience coordinating workforce, purchasing, capital, asset, supplier, licensing, or portfolio administration activities.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across engineering, product, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate portfolio governance and reporting for multiple organizational portfolios.
• Translate roadmap, investment, delivery, workforce, and financial data into concise management summaries.
• Maintain program metrics, dashboards, risks, issues, actions, decisions, and dependencies.
• Prepare materials for monthly, quarterly, and senior leadership reviews.
• Improve templates, reporting standards, controls, and repeatable business processes.
• Automate manual administrative and reporting activities to improve speed and data quality.
