Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Lead Digital Project Manager to drive portfolio operations, financial planning, workforce coordination, and business execution for a complex digital engineering organization.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, simulation, and finance teams to deliver actionable insights and improve reporting accuracy while reducing administrative burden on leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting digital, technology, software, engineering, finance, or business operations programs.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate portfolio governance reviews and publish concise leadership materials.
• Support forecasting, spend analysis, and monthly/quarterly planning cycles.
• Track workforce planning, hiring, and staffing assumptions with stakeholders.
• Manage cloud, compute, and technology cost tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate capital requests, asset records, and procurement interactions.
