Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility in Indiana. You will oversee food service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with regulations and HCSG policies.

The role requires CDM certification, an associate degree in relevant field, and experience supervising food production. Expect collaborative teamwork, on-site responsibilities, and opportunities for growth within HCSG

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Associate degree in food service management or hospitality is preferred.
• Two years experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days of employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Able to lift/push 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, perform in-service sessions, and cover roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff.
• Follow infection control and safe handling procedures; ensure sanitary environment.
• Ensure attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively through professional interactions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
