Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will ensure high food quality, manage inventory, adhere to safety and regulatory standards, and supervise staff to deliver excellent resident dining experiences.

The role requires a CDM certification, an associate degree (or higher) in food service management, and prior supervision experience.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required for the role.
• Associate's degree or higher in food service management preferred.
• Two years of quantity food production and supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the dining service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from clients, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures; report equipment needs promptly.
• Maintain punctuality and dependability; uphold professional interactions with staff and residents.
