Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care site. You will ensure high food quality, manage inventory, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while guiding the food service team under client and facility directives.

The role requires CDM certification, an associate degree in relevant fields, and experience in large-scale food service management.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area preferred.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM within 60 days of employment.
• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment with HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; cover dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff effectively.
• Ensure safe handling and cleaning practices per infection control guidelines.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with staff, residents, and guests.
