Penske Truck Leasing in La Porte, IN is seeking an experienced Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet. You will lead at the location, mentor others, and work independently on major and minor repairs with diagnostic road tests and maintenance tasks.

Top priorities include safety, reliability, and ongoing training through Penske's technician programs. You will gain exposure to OEM equipment, use advanced diagnostic tools, and have opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Six years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE, 608/609 are plus.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and welding tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, and related systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe; log repairs with Penske tools.
