Job summary

Qualifications
- 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
- High school diploma preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
- ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
- CDL preferred; valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and repairs trucks and trailers to safety standards.
- Performs preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
- Diagnoses issues with engines, transmissions, differentials; replaces assemblies as needed.
- Logs work using Penske tools and systems; performs basic diagnostics.
- Keeps work area clean and safe.
- Learns Penske maintenance processes and trains others.
- Travels within district as needed and works at assigned location.
