Job summary

Penske in Morristown, TN is seeking an experienced Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a diverse fleet. You will operate with autonomy on many tasks while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Six years of practical truck and tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing major components and ASE/608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep customers on the road.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials and related components.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log and complete repairs and perform basic diagnostics.
• Learn Penske training programs and apply new skills.
• Support additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
