Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking an experienced Technician I to lead maintenance on a diverse fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and mentor others while advancing your own skills through Penske’s training programs.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong customer service, and adherence to DOT and Penske safety standards. Candidates must have substantial truck/trailer repair experience and ASE/608/609 certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Drive and test vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure reliability.
• Keep work area clean and safe; adhere to Penske safety policies.
