Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools/tech to diagnose and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
• Work on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
