Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience diagnosing engines, transmissions and differentials.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical repair cert preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to adhere to DOT/OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Handle additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
