Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will lead at your location, mentor others, and work independently to diagnose and repair major and minor issues while maintaining safety standards.

You’ll use Penske’s diagnostic tools and training programs to stay current, with opportunities for growth, a strong benefits package, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Extensive experience with diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Willing to work in a DOT-regulated, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and replace assemblies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and use Penske tools to log and complete repairs.
