Job summary

ISHE in Idaho is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to provide safe, reliable maintenance and expert diagnosis to prevent breakdowns. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current and valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform repairs to manufacturer specifications on engines, transmissions, drive-line, and electrical systems.
• Document all work on work orders and follow procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians to develop skills and responsibilities.
