Job summary

Idaho Power, located in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our Operations Support team. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems on the IPC fleet.

Applicants should have 5 years of heavy-duty mechanics experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to meet DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; plus vocational diesel/auto training or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of heavy-duty mechanics with field repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain or maintain DOT CDL if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Work with safety regulations and DOT inspections.
