Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure software delivery pipelines. You will drive GitLab CI/CD adoption, automate deployments with Kubernetes, and integrate security across the SDLC for FAA-aligned mission-critical software.

You will collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners and cybersecurity teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and compliant delivery in AWS environments using Helm, Terraform, and modern DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for enterprise software development.
• Develop and administer GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, templates, variables, artifacts, deployments, and optimization.
• Administer GitLab repositories, merge requests, branching strategies, and source code workflows.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Deploy containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes via Helm or similar tools.
• Automate testing and security scanning within CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to obtain Public Trust suitability clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own the software delivery pipelines from build to production release.
• Integrate automated security (SAST, SCA, container scanning, IaC scanning) into pipelines.
• Maintain GitLab infrastructure including projects, groups, runners, permissions.
• Collaborate with Cloud Systems Owners to ensure scalable deployment and reliability.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure lifecycle security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and dependencies across environments.
• Document deployment procedures, release management, and engineering standards.
