Job summary

ICF is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own cloud platforms supporting modern enterprise apps in a multi-account AWS environment. You will enhance automation, GitOps, and secure, observable services across development, QA, staging, and production.

Responsibilities include Terraform/Terragrunt, EKS management with Argo CD, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and security controls. Strong AWS, Kubernetes, and governance skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years DevOps/cloud infrastructure/platform engineering.
• 5+ years operating production workloads on AWS.
• 4+ years administering production Kubernetes environments (EKS).
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and day-to-day operation of multi-account AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Terragrunt configurations.
• Administer EKS, Helm, Argo CD, and Kubernetes resources; manage upgrades and reliability.
• Build GitHub Actions workflows, AWS OIDC, and deployment pipelines with rollback.
• Ensure security and audit controls using IAM, KMS, Config, CloudTrail, GuardDuty.
