Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead the Advanced Facilities team on National Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will guide design from business development through completion, coordinating with design partners and clients to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.

You will drive value through design innovations, risk management, and clear communication across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring life-safety and code

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field is required.
• 10+ years design and/or construction management experience preferred.
• Cross-functional knowledge of architectural, structural, MEP disciplines and trades.
• Experience taking conceptual design through construction with internal and external partners.
• Ability to manage budgets and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and manage design-build, design assist, or other delivery methods.
• Develop concepts, elevations, and 3D models to support presentations and win strategies.
• Coordinate design with clients, consultants, and stakeholders; ensure compliance with codes and criteria.
• Manage outside design consultants and ensure timely, quality design deliverables.
• Direct design budgets, schedules, and fees in collaboration with Project Executive.
