Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group to lead M/E activities on industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. You will manage estimates, scheduling, quality control, and commissioning in mechanical/electrical scopes and help develop new business opportunities.

The role emphasizes autonomy, budgeting, bid coordination, and mentoring while delivering safe, high-quality results on complex projects across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and construction M/E tools/software.

Responsibilities

• Complete increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information.
• Review mechanical and electrical options and provide value engineering suggestions.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes during bid processes and develop sequencing requirements.
• Mentor less experienced co-workers and drive continuous improvement.
