Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver Lead/Trainer in the Richmond area. The role involves conducting classroom onboarding for new drivers, training on safety, policies, and performance, and performing customer deliveries with accuracy and service excellence.

The position requires a valid CDL Class A, endorsements, and experience in commercial driving or food/beverage delivery, plus clear English communication. The role emphasizes safety and leadership within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

Must have valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery required.
Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Conduct classroom onboarding for new drivers.
Train and mentor new drivers on company policies and procedures; monitor compliance and performance.
Perform customer site visits to determine feasibility of delivery.
Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
Unload products and verify delivery with customers; obtain signatures and handle payments when applicable.
Provide customer service to enhance the client experience.
